Labor & Wait Unlimited licence agreement

This is an agreement between you, the purchaser, and Labor & Wait. In accepting the terms of this agreement, you acknowledge understanding and promise to comply with its terms. If you do not accept the terms, please do not complete the purchase transaction.
You may purchase licensing on behalf of another organisation, but you must share this licence agreement with that organisation.
What you are purchasing from Labor & Wait is a perpetual and irrevocable license for digital typeface software - hereafter ‘fonts’ - to be used for research, development, and production purposes. You are not purchasing the copyright to the design of the fonts, but the rights to use the fonts.
The fonts are provided in OpenType (.otf), TrueType (.ttf), and Web Open File Format (.woff & .woff2).
All font licensing is perpetual, irrevocable, and extendable.
Number of users:
- There is no limit to the number of people within the licensee organisation who may use the fonts. The fonts may also be distributed to outside vendors, partners, contractors, and service providers working on behalf of the licensee organisation.
- There is no limit to the number of unique visitors to websites serving the fonts, nor to the number of users of applications in which the fonts are embedded.
What you can do with the fonts:
- The fonts may be installed on desktop/laptop computers and/or accessed via a font server.
- The fonts may be embedded in secure read-only documents, such as Portable Document Format (.pdf), Word (.doc), PowerPoint (.ppt), etc.
- The fonts may be embedded in secure read-only ebook formats, such as .epub, .mobi, .azw, etc.
- The fonts may be used to create graphics for print, digital, broadcast, and any other medium.
- The fonts may be implemented via the @font-face tag in cascading style sheets (CSS) on any number of domains belonging to the licensee organization.
- The fonts may be embedded in mobile applications (iOS, Android, etc.), games, interactive software, digital publications, and other standalone software packages.
What you cannot do with the fonts:
- You may not sell, sublicense, or redistribute the fonts as a standalone product or as part of any font collection or library.
- You may not create and distribute derivative typefaces based on these fonts without written consent.
Domains:
- There is no limit to the number of domains or sub-domains from which the fonts may be served. This includes domains belonging to the licensee organisation as well as domains belonging to partners, distributors, and affiliated organisations operating in conjunction with the licensee. The fonts may not be served from domains that have no working relationship with the licensee organisation.
Modifications:
- You may make reasonable modifications to the fonts for your internal use, including adjusting spacing, subsetting glyphs, and format conversion for compatibility purposes.
Technical support and warranty:
- We have done everything we can to produce our fonts to the highest and most up-to-date technical standards, and we test extensively in the latest versions of technically-compliant applications. If you do experience any difficulties, we will work with you to resolve any technical issues in the fonts. If, after we have worked to resolve any technical issues, you are still not satisfied with our software, we will be pleased to refund your money, which shall be the limit of our liability in this transaction.
We grant the rights of use of our fonts to you in good faith, and request that you adhere to the terms of this agreement to the best of your ability, and in good faith.
Labor and Wait is the brand under which Village Type & Design LLC conducts its business. All contracts, invoices, and legal agreements are issued by Village Type & Design LLC, the registered legal entity.
